BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University's Mike Gartner (Sr., San Jose, Calif./Bellarmine) notched six goals to earn the November 3 Northern Division Player of the Week award and power the No. 17 Bears to a 15-10 victory over the visiting Engineers of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Balfour Natatorium at Wheaton College.

Shooting over 56 percent for the year, he is second on the team in scoring with 49 goals and picked up his third Player of the Week award after earning the September 15 and 29 honors.

Gartner will lead the Bears into the Northern Division Championship tournament this weekend at MIT on November 8-9.
