BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins University senior Josh Kratz (Sr., Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) scored six goals and handed out four assists with three steals and five ejections drawn at the Princeton Invitational to earn the September 15 Southern Division Player of the Week award for keying the Blue Jays in games against No. 3 Stanford University, No. 19 Brown University, No. 11 Navy and No. 9 UC-San Diego.
Versus Stanford in an 18-5 loss, he scored a goal before netting three goals and dishing out three assists with one steal and an ejection drawn in a narrow 12-11 loss to Brown. In Hopkins' 9-8 upset of Navy, the senior co-captain scored two goals, including one in the fourth quarter, as the Blue Jays held on for the one goal victory. He concluded the weekend with an assist against UC-San Diego in an 13-5 loss.
On the year, he has nine goals and 11 assists.
