Notre Dame's Ali Durkin Named March 1 Women's Collegiate Club Midwest Division Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Ali Durkin (Jr., Chicago, Ill./St. Ignatius) of No. 1-nationally ranked the University of Notre Dame scored 14 goals and led the team in ejections drawn to earn the March 1 Midwest Division Co-Player of the Week.

She aided the Irish in defeating Miami University (14-6 W, 14-5 W), Ohio University (14-2 W), No. 16-ranked Grand Valley State University (6-5 W) as Notre Dame defended its No. 1 National Ranking and jumped out to a one game lead in the division standings over Grand Valley State.

She shares the March 1 Midwest Player of the Week award with Ashley Mulder of Grand Valley State University who finished the week with 17 goals, four assists, three steals and eight ejections-drawn in a 3-1 weekend.
