Brown's Sarah Glick Named April 19 Women's Varsity Northern Division Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University's Sarah Glick (Sr., Bonita, Calif./Bonita Vista) posted six goals, eight steals, three steals and two ejections-drawn as the Bears clinched an automatic berth to the Eastern Championship.  For her performance, Glick earned a share of the April 19 Women's Varsity Northern Division Player of the Week award.

She tallied three goals, two assists, two steals and two ejections drawn in a 7-6 overtime loss at Harvard University before contributing a goal, three assists and a steal in a 12-9 loss to No. 11-nationally ranked and Northern Division champion Hartwick College.

Her best game of the week came at Wheaton College on Brown's Senior Day as she tacked on five goals and three assists to her season totals to power the Bears past Harvard 14-10.  The victory pulled the Bears even with Harvard at 1-3 in Northern Division play and gave Brown an automatic berth to the 2010 Eastern Championship at the University of Maryland on April 30-May 2 based on goal differential.

Glick ranks as the all-time leader in points in a season and a career at Brown as her 82 goals and 72 assists this season have raised her career totals to 282 goals and 257 assists.

She shares the award with Harvard University's Monica Zdrojewski (So., Irvine, Calif./Dana Hills) who tallied the game winning overtime goal against Brown in a 7-6 victory and finished with four goals and five steals in a three games.
