Kirsten Hudson Named 2010 Hartwick College Most Valuable Player
ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Hartwick College's Kirsten Hudson (Sr., Wellington, New Zealand/Sacred Heart) concludes her career with yet another award as the three-time Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Northern Division Most Valuable Player garnered accolades as the 2010 Hartwick College women's water polo MVP.
The 2009 and 2010 Hartwick College Anna Meyer Female Athlete of the Year Award recipient, she garnered Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Northern Division Most Valuable Player of the Year honors this season to close out her stellar four-year stint with the Hawks. She was a four-time CWPA Eastern First Team all-star, a three-time Northern MVP, and holds College records in virtually every statistical category. Hudson scored 368 goals and added 248 assists for 616 career points. She also recorded a program-best 249 steals.
