Michael Goldenberg

ORADEA, Romania -- Collegiate Water Polo Association referees Mark Koganov and Michael Goldenberg will whistle the gold medal game at the 2010 Men's World Cup between Serbia and Croatia on Sunday, August 1 in Romania.

The FINA World Water Polo Championship is an international water polo tournament, currently held every two years as part of the FINA World Aquatics Championships.

Both referees have led distinquished careers in the CWPA with Koganov earning the 2002 Most Improved Referee award along with the 2004 and 2007 Referee of the Year awards from the league.  Goldenberg is currently tied for the league record in Referee of the Year awards as he garnered the 2000, 2002, 2005 accolades.
