BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association released the 2009 Texas Division men's club schedule as the University of Texas "A" and "B", Texas A&M University, Baylor University, University of Houston, Texas Tech University, Rice University and Texas State University will compete for the division championship and an automatic bid to the 2009 National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Florida.

Competition commences on September 12-13 at the University of Texas in Austin before resuming on October 3-4 at Texas A&M University in College Station to wrap-up the regular season and seed the division championship.

The division title will be decided on October 24-25 at the University of Houston as the eight teams will meet one final time to decide which squad earns the title of division champion and the subsquent bid to the 2009 Men's National Collegiate Club Championship on November 13-15 at Florida.

In the history of the division, only two teams have claimed the title as defending champion Texas A&M (2001-02, 2007-08) and Texas (2003-06) have accounted for all eight crowns.
