BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Ball State Univiersity, University of Chicago, University of Dayton, Grand Valley State University, University of Illinois-Chicago, University of Notre Dame and Ohio University now know the dates of their league competition as the Collegiate Water Polo Association released the 2009 Great Lakes Division for the men's collegiate club season.

Among a select group of divisions that hold only one regular season event, the Great Lakes Division Championship seedings will be determined on September 26-27 at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana as the seven division programs will meet on the campus of the Fighting Irish.

A month later, the division champion will be crowned as Ball State, Chicago, GVSU, UIC, Notre Dame and Ohio travel to Dayton, Ohio and the campus of Dayton to compete for the Great Lakes title.  The victor will earn the division's automatic berth to the 2009 National Collegiate Club Championship on November 13-15 at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

In the history of the division, Grand Valley State and Notre Dame have been the dominant teams as GVSU has downed the Fighting Irish for the last seven championships dating back to the 2002 season.
