Franklin & Marshall College to Host 2010 Mid-Atlantic Division Championship this Weekend
2010 Mid-Atlantic Division Championship Schedule
LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall College will host the 2010 Men's National Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Championship at the institution's Alumni Sports & Fitness Center on Friday, October 22 through Sunday, October 24. Ticket prices are $5 for a weekend pass and $3 for a day pass to the largest collegiate water polo event in Eastern Pennsylvania this year.
Comprised of Drexel University, Franklin & Marshall, La Salle University, Lehigh University, Millersville University, Saint Joseph's University, the University of Delaware, the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University in the Eastern Region, with Bloomsburg University, Carnegie Mellon University, Grove City College, Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh in the West, the division will feature three games on Friday (October 22), 11 on Saturday (October 23) and seven on Sunday (October 24) to crown the division champion.
In the history of the Mid-Atlantic, five teams hold conference titles as Penn (1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2008), Penn State (1998, 2005, 2009), Villanova (2000, 2001, 2003, 2004) and former division members the University of Richmond (1999) and Slippery Rock University (2006) have taken the crown.
