BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released an updated schedule of games for the 2012 Women's National Collegiate Club New York Division following the decision of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to not field a team this season.

Comprised of Colgate University, Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University and Syracuse University, division play will begin with a 10-game tournament at Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. on February 25-26. 

Following another 10-game tournament at Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y. on March 31-April 1 to conclude the regular season, the New York Division race will come to an end with the nine-contest division championship on April 14-15 at Columbia in New York City. The champion of the division will advance to the National Collegiate Club Championship on May 4-6 at Florida State University.

In the history of the division, Columbia (2001, 2003, 2007), NYU (2002, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010) and Cornell (2005, 2006, 2011) have combined to capture all 11 crowns since 2001.  Overall, five of the division's six squads have reached the title game in the past with Columbia (2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011), NYU (2002, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010), Cornell (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011), Colgate (2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2010) and Syracuse (2008) each competing for the championship.
