BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Macalester College goalie Simon Sanggaard (Fr., Denmark) stopped 57 shots in a 2-2 week to earn a share of the October 3 Heartland Division Player of the Week award.

Facing St. Mary's University (10-2 W), Carleton College (14-8 L), Knox College (7-6 W) and St. John's University (13-8 L), he made 57 saves witth 11 steals and five assists to help the Scots clinch the No. 5 seed for the Heartland Division Championship on October 22-23 at home in St. Paul, Minn.

He shares the weekly award with Mike Kelash (Sr., Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids) of St. John's who registered nine goals, 15 assists and 10 steals in a 2-2 week for the Johnnies.
