Princeton University's Brittany Zwirner Named February 14 Southern Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Princeton University's Brittany Zwirner (So., Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) tallied eight goals, five assists and 11 steals to lead the No. 18-ranked Tigers to a 3-1 record at the Princeton Invitational and earn the February 14 Women's Varsity Southern Division Player of the Week award.
She posted pairs of goals and assists with three steals against George Washington University (9-4 W) before tacking on pairs of goals and ejections drawn with three steals versus Brown University (12-1 W). Facing Colorado State University (11-10 OT SD W), she ripped in four goals, including the game-winner in overtime, with three assists and three steals.
Zwirner wrapped up the weekend with an assist and an ejection drawn against No. 19 University of the Pacific (6-4 L).
