Iona (4-2) scored six of the game’s first seven goals and led 7-2 following the first quarter. Bucknell (4-4) managed just three first-quarter shots as the Gaels forced a number of turnovers and turned them into easy scores.
Kandis Canonica (Burlingame, Calif./St. Ignatius Prep) registered two goals and one assist to tie Prickett and Amanda Skonezney (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) for team-high point honors for Bucknell. Canonica now has 353 points in her career, putting her in sole possession of second place on the program’s all-time scoring list, just five behind Aubrey Rowe.
