Brittany Zwirner and Lauren Brunner scored the first two Princeton goals on ejections and Audry Zak made the score 3-0 on a counter midway through the opening quarter. Sonoma State got on the scoreboard after that but Rachele Gyorffy's counter goal gave Princeton a 4-1 lead after a period. She played three quarters in goal and made 10 saves. Grace du Pont made two saves in the final quarter.
