BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- George Washington University's Allison Peotter (Jr., Newport Beach, Calif./Corona del Mar) contributed 15 goals, eight assists, 13 steals, 18 sprint victories and six ejections drawn to earn a share of the March 21 Women's Varsity Southern Division Player of the Week award.
In a 1-4 week for the Colonials, Peotter connected for 23 points against No. 16-ranked University of California-Davis (17-8 L), No. 2 University of California (16-4 L), California State University-East Bay (18-9 L), Sonoma State University (10-9 W) and California State University-Monterey Bay (13-10 L) during a West Coast trip.
She contributed three-or-more points in all five games, including a goal and two assists with four sprint victories and three steals against No. 2 California.
Her best game of the weekend came versus No. 16 UC-Davis as she ripped home six markers and added an assist with five steals against the Aggies.
In addition, she tacked on a pair of goals against CSU-East Bay along with hat-tricks versus Sonoma State and CSU-Monterey Bay to eclipse the career 100-goal mark (108).
Peotter also moved into second place all-time at GW with 92 assists while rating fifth in points (200) and steals (163) over 65 career games.
The award, which she shares with Princeton University's Saranna Soroka (So., Redondo Beach, Calif./Chadwick School), marks the eighth weekly honor bestowed on Peotter since 2009 as she previously picked up three Rookie of the Week (2009 - February 23, March 2, March 23) and three Player of the Week (2009 - March 23; 2010 - April 5; 2011 - February 21, March 7) nods.
