Indiana University's Lauren Wyckoff Named March 21 Western Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Lauren Wyckoff (Sr., Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) of No. 13-nationally ranked Indiana University posted 11 goals, eight assists, five earned exclusions and five steals in a 5-0 weekend at the California Baptist University Lancer Invitational to earn the March 21 Women's Varsity Western Division Player of the Week award.

Indiana, which extended its winning streak to eight games, defeated Cal Baptist (11-6 W), Siena College (12-6 W), Concordia University (13-6 W), No. 20 Iona College (14-6 W) and University of Redlands (13-10 W) to sweep through the Lancer Invitational.

She began the tournament with two goals, an assist and two earned kickouts against Cal Baptist.  Following a two goal-two assist performance versus Siena, she posted a season-high four goals in the squad's victory over Concordia (Calif.) to go along with an earned exclusion.

Wyckoff dished out a trio of assists, earned four kickouts and scored a goal versus Iona, before concluding the trip with two goal, two assists and four steals in a three-marker win against Redlands.

Overall, she now has 10 multit-goal games this season, including five during the past seven games, as she has season totals of 31 goals, 20 assists, 26 steals and a team-high 45 earned exclusions.

Earlier this season, she became the fifth Hoosier in program history to eclipse 100 goals, 100 assists and 100 steals in a career. 

For her career she now has 142 goals, 117 assists and 111 steals, as the last Hoosier to crack the century mark in all three categories was Brooke Zimmerman in 2008.
