Princeton University's Molly McBee Named March 21 Southern Division Rookie of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Princeton University's Molly McBee (Fr., Palos Verdes, Calif./Palos Verdes) tallied eight goals with three assists, three steals and six ejections drawn in five games during a Spring Break trip to the West Coast to earn accolades as the March 21 Women's Varsity Southern Division Rookie of the Week.
She recorded two hat-tricks during the five-game run for the No. 18-nationally ranked Tigers as she pumped in three goals with a steal and an ejection drawn versus Concordia University (11-5 W) before contributing three goals with an assist and an ejection drawn versus No. 10-ranked Long Beach State University (7-5 L).
She added a goal with an assist, a steal and an ejection drawn versus California State University-San Bernardino (11-6 W), while chipping in a steal and an ejection drawn against Sonoma State University (13-4 W). In addition, she posted a goal with an assist and two ejections drawn in a narrow 8-6 loss to No. 6 Loyola Marymount University.
