University of Michigan's Meagan Cobb & Lauren Colton Named March 28 Western Division Co-Players of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Meagan Cobb (Jr., Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville) and Lauren Colton (So., Tustin, Calif./Tesoro) combined for four goals and six ejections drawn to lead No. 7 University of Michigan past No. 12 Indiana University 9-8 last week and earn Women's Varsity Western Division Co-Player of the Week nods.

Cobb, who contributed the game-winning goal and four ejections drawn, picks up her seventh Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly accolade and second Player of the Week award in as many weeks of competition. Named the March 14 Co-Player of the Week earlier this season, she previously picked up five awards during the 2009 season earning the January 26, March 16, April 20 and April 27 Rookie of the Week and March 30 Player of the Week awards.

Colton finished with three goals and two ejections drawn versus Indiana in the one-goal victory as she claims her fourth honor, joiningjoining three Rookie of the Week awards from last season.  The February 8, April 5 and March 17 Rookie of the Week, she accounted for 1/3 of the Wolverines scoring against Indiana.
