No. 3 USC Terminates No. 16 Hartwick College's 16-Game Win Streak with 19-4 Victory

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Defending National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) National Champion and No. 3-ranked University of Southern California defeated No. 16 Hartwick College 19-4 to end a 16-game winning streak by the Hawks. 

The loss for the Hawks, which is their first since February 13th, snaps a 16-game win streak. It marks the second-longest run in the history of the program.

The host Trojans (15-3) have now won 23 straight games at McDonald's Swim Stadium and improve to 8-0 all-time against the Hawks. Hartwick is now 20-7 on the season.

USC scored five times in the first quarter to open up a five-goal lead after one. The Trojans outscored the Hawks by a narrow 3-2 margin in the second session to take an 8-2 advantage into halftime.

The hosts tallied another five times in the third to lead 13-3 after three and scored six of the final quarter's seven goals for the 19-4 final score.

Senior Jessica McKee scored three of Hartwick's four goals in the game. She now has 19 goals in the Hawks' seven games out west. Allyssa Analytis registered the other 'Wick tally. Jess Dorman made seven saves for the Hawks.
