University of Michigan's Lauren Dudley Named April 4 Western Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- University of Michigan freshman Lauren Dudley (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) posted six goals and two steals in a 3-0 week for the No. 7-nationally ranked Wolverines to garner the April 4 Women's Varsity Western Division Rookie of the Week award.

The second Michigan player to earn the Western Division Rookie of the Week award, joining classmate and January 31 honoree Kelsey Nolan (San Jose, Calif./Leland), Dudley helped the Wolverines handle Bucknell University (15-6 W) in Western Division action, along with Saint Francis College (19-8 W) and No. 18 Princeton University (12-10 W) at the Princeton Tiger Tournament.

She netted two goals and a steal versus Bucknell as the Wolverines moved within a game of clinching the Western Division title, before tallying four goals with a steal versus St. Francis.
