BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Kiki Golden (So., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) of No. 6-ranked University of Michigan registered seven goals, one assist, nine steals, five kickouts-drawn and a field block to earn honors as the April 11 Women's Varsity Western Division Co-Player of the Week.
The award marks the second of the season for Golden who picked up honors as the January 31 Western Division Defensive Player of the Week earlier this season.
Versus No. 14 Hartwick College (8-7 W), the University of Maryland (9-5 W), Harvard University (13-10 W) and George Washington University (15-5 W) over the weekend at Bucknell University, Golden shined for the Wolverines by keying Michigan to a sweep and helping claim the program's 10th consecutive Western Division title.
Facing Hartwick with the Western Division title on the line, Golden dented the twine five times, including the game-winner with 33 seconds remaining, while chipping in an assist and a steal with a kickout drawn in a one-goal victory.
She added to her weekly statistics against Maryland by grabbing five steals, drawing three ejections and tallying a goal in a four goal win, before registering a goal, two steals, a field block and a kickout-drawn versus Harvard in a three-goal victory.
Against George Washington in the finale, she registered a steal to help Michigan improve to 27-4 on the season, including a 5-0 mark in division play and a 10-0 record against all Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I/II members.
She shares the Player of the Week award with Indiana University's Lauren Wyckoff (Sr., Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos).
