Indiana University's Lauren Wyckoff Named April 11 Western Division Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Indiana University's Lauren Wyckoff (Sr., Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) scored nine times with eight assists, six steals and four earned exclusions in a 4-1 weekend for the No. 12-ranked Hoosiers in Pennsylvania to earn honors as the April 11 Women's Varsity Western Division Co-Player of the Week.

The award marks the third Western Division Player of the Week honor this season for Wyckoff as she previously earned nods on February 7 and March 21.

She opened the trip by dishing out an assist and earning a kick-out in a 15-4 win at Gannon University. She followed it up with two goals, a career-high-tying four assists, and a steal in a 17-4 win over Mercyhurst College.

Wyckoff continued to scorch the nets at the Bison Invitational, scoring three goals to begin the tournament in a 16-7 win against tournament host Bucknell University. She also registered one assist, an earned exclusion, and an earned five-meter penalty against the Bison.

In an 8-5 loss to No. 14 Hartwick College to decide the runner-up in the Western Division, Wyckoff had a goal and an assist. She then wrapped up the weekend with a three-goal effort in a 9-7 win against the University of Maryland, while also notching two assists, a career-high-tying four steals, and an earned exclusion.

Her eight assists during the weekend moved her into third on the Indiana all-time list with 127 for her career.

To date this season, Wyckoff has 41 goals, 30 assists, 32 steals, and a team-best 53 earned kick-outs. She has recorded 13 multi-goal games, as well as nine contests with at least two assists during her senior campaign.

She shares the Player of the Week award with the University of Michigan's Kiki Golden (So., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista).
