ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Carthage College's Kimberly Genian (Sr., Gurnee, Ill./Highland Park) earned Most Valuable Player honors as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announced the 14-member 2011 Division III All-Conference Team earlier today.

In only the second year of CWPA Division III competition, the Lady Reds swept the major awards as Sarah Zink captured the Coach of the Year and Hillary Veselik (Fr., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South) claimed the Rookie of the Year honors.
Carthage placed four players on the All-Conference team as Genian, a 2010 All-Conference First Team pick, joins Veselik and goalie Christine Menzenberger (Sr., Mokena, Ill./Frankfort-Lincoln-Way East) on the First Team. Kati Pedersen (Jr., Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) completes the Reds' quartet as she earned Second Team laurels.
