LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell University head coach John McBride recently announced the Bison men’s water polo recruiting class. The group includes four players, three of whom hail from California. Bucknell needed to replace just five seniors from last year’s squad that posted a 13-16 record against a schedule that featured 13 nationally ranked opponents.
"This is a talented freshman class and I am looking forward to working with them and getting to know them," said McBride, who was hired as Bucknell's head coach in May after seven years as an assistant at Brown. "I anticipate these student-athletes will help continue the outstanding success Bison Water Polo has achieved in recent years."
There is a recognizable name in the recruiting class as Buck Doyle is the younger brother of former Bison water polo player Nick Doyle, a 2010 graduate of Bucknell.
