Macalester College's Katie Eulau & Chloe Kaulas Named ACWPC Division III Honorable Mention All-America Selections
ST. PAUL, Minn. --
Macalester standouts Katie Eulau (Fr., Saratoga,
Calif./Castilleja) and
Chloe Kaulas (Fr., Chicago, Ill./Latin School)
have earned 2011 All-America honors, as presented by the
Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). Eulau, who
plays two-meters for the Scots, and Kaulas, the team's goalkeeper,
are both Division III Honorable Mention selections.
Eulau and Kaulas led the Scots to a fourth-place finish at home
during the College Water Polo Association Division III tournament,
each making the All-Tournament team.
Kaulas started all 22 Macalester games in net and posted a .541
save percentage and 11.6 goals against average.
Eulau was a goal-scoring force and netted 73 of her team's 122
goals. She also collected nine assists, and 37 steals and her 3.3
goals per game average tops all players nationally in Division III
and in all divisions.
