BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association to aid in ranking of the varsity teams around the nation, compiles a list of varsity scores from each of the conferences and independent institutions.

These scores reflect competition against four-year institutions and are forwarded to the National Collegiate Athletic Association for use in compiling each program's RPI.

Only competition against four-year colleges is compiled to provide an equal basis for each team's ranking in the national polls.  All invitational, conference and non-conference games are included among four-year institutions.
