Mercyhurst Manages Harvard 11-3 in ECAC Championship Second Round
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Another tough second period and a strong defensive showing by Mercyhurst College on Saturday, September 18 led the Harvard University men's water polo team to another defeat at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at Blodgett Pool, 11-3.
Harvard stayed close after Mercyhurst struck first in the opening period, tying the game at 1-1 before Mercyhurst took a 3-2 lead at the end of the period.
