Fordham Stops Connecticut College 24-6 in CWPA Northern Division Action
BRONX, N.Y. -- Ali Arat (Gr., Istanbul, Turkey/Sikli Terakki Secondary/Koc University) scored seven goals for all the Fordham University needed as the Rams handled Connecticut College 24-6 in CWPA Northern Division play in the Bronx. Alex Powell (Sr., Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./Palos Verdes) and Mikey Edwards (Sr., Walnut, Calif./Rowland/Mt. San Antonio) both added hat-tricks for Fordham as 11 different Rams found the back of the net in the win.
J.D. Shrewsbury (Jr., Town & Country, Mo./Desmet Jesuit), Cashel Barnett (So., Carmichael, Calif./Rio Americano) and Daniel Barron (So., Darien, Ill./Fenwick) all contributed two scores to round out the multiple marker managers in the game.
In cage, Eric Mullery (Fr., Miami, Fla./Christopher Columbus) picked up the win for Fordham stopping 13 shots on the day, while Clayton Witter (So., Douglassville, Pa./Hill School) suffered the loss for the Camels with nine saves.
