Bucknell University's Kalter Named October 25 Southern Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Howie Kalter (Sr., Durham, N.H./Phillips Academy Andover) of Bucknell University notched 11 goals, one assist, one steal and two field blocks at the Santa Clara University Rodeo Invitational to earn the October 25 Southern Division Player of the Week award. His best game came against No. 11 University of California-Davis as he posted three goals with an assist in a 7-6 upset.
In earlier games, he netted four goals in an 8-7 loss to the United States Air Force Academy before tacking on two goals and a field block in a 13-9 loss to No. 13 Santa Clara. Prior to the tournament concluding UC-Davis game, he chipped in pairs of goals and steals with a field block in a 16-8 loss to No. 7 University of the Pacific.
