BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University's James McNamara (Fr., Los Angeles, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) posted four goals, including a pair of markers in an 8-4 second round victory over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to earn the November 22 Northern Division Rookie of the Week award. The honor marks his fourth Northern Division Rookie of the Week accolade this season.
Facing the No. 15-ranked Midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy in the opening round, he contributed a goal as Brown fell 15-9. Following his pair of strikes against MIT in the second round, he wrapped up the tournament with a 6-on-5 marker in a 10-5 victory over Division III No. 1-ranked Johns Hopkins University to clinch the 2010 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Eastern Championship Rookie of the Tournament award.
Previously named the September 13, October 4 and November 8 Northern Division Rookie of the Week, McNamara helped Brown conclude the Eastern Championship in fifth place.
