Johnson & Wales Inn Named Host Hotel for 2012 Women's CWPA Eastern Championship
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces the selection of the Johnson & Wales Inn in Seekonk, Mass. as the official host hotel for the 2012 Women's CWPA Eastern Championship at Brown University on Friday-Sunday, April 27-29.
The site of the league's Eastern Championship Banquet on the evening of Thursday, April 26, rooms at the Johnson & Wales Inn are avaiable via a room block established by the league for a rate of $85.00 on Thursday-Saturday evening for a standard room with two beds for single/double occpuancy or an executive suite with one bed for single/double occupancy. Currently, the block includes five standard rooms and 16 executive suites for a total of 21 rooms.
Please note that these rates are subject to local taxes. Currently there is a 5.7% Massachusetts State Occupancy tax and a 6% Seekonk Excise Tax. Teams are not obligated by league policy to stay at the Johnson & Wales Inn.
A charge of $10.00 will be added for a third and fourth person sharing a double room. Children 17 years and under may share the same room with parents at no additional charge.
Sleeping room rates are quoted per room, per night, net non-commissionable, plus applicable taxes at the time.
Complimentary parking is available to all guests of the hotel.
Check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Guests who vacate their room after 11:00am and prior to 4:00pm will be charged a half day rate equal to half the room rate that they are paying. Guests checking out after 4:00pm will be charged a full room rate.
