Eight Collegiate Water Polo Association Institutions Rate on 2012 PayScale.com Return on Investment Top 10

2012 Payscale.com College Return on Investment (All 850 schools)

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Eight Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) institutions rank among the Top 10 schools on the 2012 Payscale.com Return on Investment (ROI) Rankings.

PayScale has ranked more than 850 U.S. colleges (for both in and out-of-state tuition when applicable) by their college tuition ROI - a comparison of what an individual pays to attend versus what they get back in lifetime earnings for their collegiate education.

Among the Collegiate Water Polo Association programs, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ranks third on the Top 10 as the Engineers sponsor a men's varsity team and women's collegiate club program in the CWPA.  Stanford University (men's club) and Princeton University (men's varsity, women's varsity) complete the Top Five at fourth and fifth, respectively, while Harvard University (men's varsity, women's varsity) comes in sixth.

Dartmouth College (men's club, women's club), Duke University (men's club, women's club), the University of Pennsylvania (men's club, women's club) and the University of Notre Dame (men's club, women's club) complete the Top 10.

Overall, all 10 institutions that made the list feature a water polo team as Harvey Mudd College, part of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, and the California Institute of Technolgy both feature varsity programs.  Further, of the 10 programs on the list six have varsity water polo programs as Stanford University also fields both men's and women's varsity squads in addition to the institutions club programs in the CWPA.
