Alex Stankevitch

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Alex Stankevitch (Voorhees, N.J.), Valeriy Vasilchikov (Staten Island, N.Y.), Perry Korbakis (Crestwood, Ill.), Hadi Farid (Santa Monica, Calif.), Humberto Navarro (West Palm Beach, Fla.), Josh Kratz (Lansdale, Pa.) and Vaughn Cooper (Dover, N.H.) have been selected as the officials for the 2012 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women's Eastern Championship at Brown University on April 27-29 in Providence, R.I.

The 23-game championship featuring the University of Michigan, Princeton University, Indiana University, Hartwick College, Brown University, Harvard University, Bucknell University, George Washington University, Mercyhurst University, Gannon University, Notre Dame College (Ohio) and Salem International University will decide the league's champion and representative for the eight-team National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship on May 11-13 at San Diego State University.

Among active teams, five programs have claimed a CWPA Eastern Championship in the past 12 years as Michigan (2002, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010), Hartwick (2004, 2006, 2007), Indiana (2003, 2011), Brown (2001) and Princeton (2000) taken the league title in this millenium.
