BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Collegiate Water Polo Association Commissioner Dan Sharadin has announced the dates for the league's 2012 Annual Meeting and Referee Forum.

The league's Annual Meeting will occur on Monday, June 4 at Villanova University.  Additional information on the meeting will be forwarded to the league's varsity and national collegiate club coaches and administrators in the next week following the National Collegiate Club Championship.

The meeting will be divided into three basic sessions as in past years. The morning session will pertain to the women’s issues. Board of Director Elections will be held prior to lunch, followed by the general session meeting and the Annual Report. The last session will cover the men’s issues. All varsity institutions should have an administrator in attendance. The deadline to submit any legislative proposals is May 15th. The link to do so is found below:

The CWPA Referee Forum will be hosted on the weekend prior to the Annual Meeting as the league's officiating core will meet at Villanova's Bartley Hall on Saturday-Sunday, June 2-3 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and running until late afternoon.

The sessions will cover rule interpretations and points of emphasis released by the NCAA Rules Committee, led by Bob Corb, NCAA Coordinator of Officials and Ed Reed, CWPA Coordinator of Officials. All coaches are encouraged to attend and administrators are welcome as well.
