NEW YORK, N.Y. -- TheStreet.com, a financial services website, recently released a list of the ten richest colleges in the United States with nine of the 10 institutions fielding a team in the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

Overall, the top eight teams in the rankings field a squad in the CWPA as Harvard University, Yale University, University of Texas, Princeton University, Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Michigan and Columbia University all have endowments of $7.8 billion or more.

The lone team in the rankings that does not currently field a program in the CWPA is Northwestern University, which has fielded a collegiate club team in the league in the past.

Texas A&M Univiersity completes the Top 10 as the Aggies boast an endowment of $7 billion.
