ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Pennsylvania State University-Behrend men's water polo team fell to Fordham University at the Navy Open on Sunday morning 13-3.

The Lions (0-2) got on the board from goals by Nic Pabich (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) and Jake DesRoches (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson).  Freshman Wes Atkinson (Camarillo, Calif./Rio Mesa) also chipped in for his first collegiate goal.  Playing in his first season, junior goalie Hunter Backenstose (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) provided a strong effort recording 10 saves.
